Got a short done and submitted. Mostly working on the RPG book this week...did some very interesting research.
I've always thought of Djinn as more like a kind of demon than anything else, but it seems they're a lot closer to the Arab world's fairies. Quite fascinating. Oh, and the "forty" thieves in Ali Baba were just "a lot" of thieves - apparently "forty" is just the standard for "we're not sure how many, but a lot" in traditional Arabic usage...
I love research. The problem is I always get lost in it and then don't get as much writing done. Oops.
