In Nepal, tigers have worked out how to coexist with humans...how to use the same trails and the same hunting grounds. They aren't stupid, it seems, and have learned that humans are almost entirely diurnal. So, they just wait for the silly primates to go to bed and then come out.
Some guy in China found a half meter earthworm in his gutter. Dang.
